Atlanta's Blast-Off Burlesque is a collective of neo-burlesque performers, who revel in the traditional vaudeville splendor of the show, spiced with just enough modern edge.

We're an open relationship founded on trying new things in new places, and we're looking for adventure. Blast-Off Burlesque has joined forces with newcomers and established talent from across the country.

People often ask, "So what is the Silver Scream Spook Show?" It's hard to explain just what the Spook Show is, but it's like if Ed Wood directed the Saturday afternoon Creature Feature, or PeeWee's Playhouse meets The Munsters. Our host is Professor Morte, and his sidekick is Retch... We have a stage show, then the classic movie is screened. Come support Atlanta's historic Plaza Theatre and enjoy a surreal romp through the classic cinema that shaped your childhood.

Well, we've been told that we're stimulating, whatever that means. And there's all that hubub up in DC about bailouts and such. So, Blast-Off tapped some of the best talent in the Southeast to wrap up a big stimulus package for you... Blast-Off Burlesque presented a SciFi-A-GoGo show, Stimulus Package, May 8 & 9, 2009 at East Atlanta Icehouse.
